Liverpool Cologne Partnership 

Dating back to 1908 a flourishing partnership between Liverpool and Cologne blossomed in the 1990's and has gone from strength to strength since then.

Cologne clergy came to study the ground-breaking urban report "Faith in the City".  Since then a regular flow of clergy and congregations of all traditions have celebrated anniversaries and events, choirs have performed in each other's cathedrals, students have examined each other's way of doing church.

In this way such partnerships have been described as an "opportunity for the circulation of the life blood in the Body of Christ".
